Everyone thinks their parents are the perfect humans, the know-it-all. Well, I wont say that's completely wrong, because every parent goes above and beyond to be the perfect human for their child- but they still are humans.... so we definitely made mistakes, but at the time, it just felt the right way of things, the perfect solution 🤷‍♀️. There was frequent switch of schools (as we felt you always deserved better and would never want to settle for anything but perfect for our little Einstein👨‍🔬) , wrong choice of doctors and then again not trusting just 1 for the diagnosis - so even if you had seasonal cough and cold, we would take second and third opinions from different doctors (Yeah- talk about being frantic!) so for every time you fell sick- you were taken to at least 2-3 different doctors - anyone who will make our bub get better magically would work for us .. LOL

Lets talk about your papa- N💖

Your father did things for you even when he knew I will blast on him.. someone who doesn't think twice about his health, his own schedule, his bank balance, or how he is going to manage other stuff- but makes sure what you said, happens.

Don't know what all you will remember once you grow up. I don't want you to remember the material things, but I surely hope that you will hold the memories close to your heart.

With you, it felt like he was living his own childhood over again- but this time making sure he made everything available at your feet, anything and everything you said, had to be done. Your birthdays had to be his kind of grand, home-bound celebrations, with people that matter, a cake that would make your eyes pop out (the design had to be perfect, even if it meant making a 3-4 kg cake for a gathering of 15-20 people! that eventually your Nani and Bua would be distributing at the work place , loud music, games, party poppers and an elaborate menu !!

Your Schooling Days

For every parent, their child is another Einstein- that's a no brainier. But you truly amazed us! The way you would grasp new concepts, the way you would stand up for anything new- super confident, sharp and simply amazing. A child who fell in love with encyclopedias at the age of 4, and by age 10 was confusing me with his knowledge and making me rush to google to check my facts, always making me run out of baking sodas/vinegar/ food colors and God-Knows-What in my kitchen - that's my "K"!

Growing up, you might stumble ,fall and feel heavy as if its not possible to get up and shine again- but never let anyone or anything make you believe otherwise. You have amazing potential, and not because I am your mother- but because I have seen you grow up, I have seen you learn new things, make friends in completely new environment with such ease as if it comes natural to you. So believe me when I say, that you are one in a million- and you always will be.

A constant enemy- Your Handwriting

THIS issue has single-handedly made me pull my hair out ! Like seriously, whats with your love of scientific scriptures, writing as if you are some ancient baba who is writing some Vedic Upnishads that one would have to decode to understand the meaning of life and purpose of being born !!!!

I feel as if I was one of the top consumers of Goyal publications handwriting books- maybe I would have helped them sky-rocket their stocks (if they were trading 🤣).

Long story short- you got tired of trying and I got tired of making youo try and we were head butting but handwriting hai ke sudharne ka naam hi nahi le rahi 🤦‍♀️😖

Now am waiting for some miracle to happen- please surprise me, shock me, give me a khushi ka heart attack !!
